Narasimha yagña

Addressed to
Sri Narasimha

Fear, hostility, protection of a household

Sri Narasimha is the man-lion avatāra who appeared for Prahlāda, invoked for fearlessness and for shelter from harm. This is the extended observance rather than a short homa.

Because Narasimha is central to Gaudiya practice, this is the rite devotees in that line ask for most often, and the one I am asked about most from abroad.

Procedure, duration, materials and whether it can be performed in your absence depend on your circumstances, so I discuss those with you rather than list them here. Wording on this page is awaiting my review.
